Who is the target audience?

This course is designed to accommodate all levels. We will cover foundational statistical concepts relevant to meta-analysis, so even beginners can follow along and build their skills. These skills will be useful for all levels – from practising doctors, to medical and even pre-med students interested in pursuing a career in medical research.

You will learn to use popular software tools like R (using packages such as meta), and Excel for conducting meta-analyses. The course will include step-by-step tutorials on how to perform data entry, analysis, and interpretation using these tools.

Courses are designed with a flexible learning schedule in mind. All lectures are recorded and can be viewed at your own pace. We recommend to view the lectures at least once weekly to ensure that the content remains fresh and the course can be completed in a timely manner.

Yes! By the end of the course, you will have the skills and confidence to independently conduct a meta-analysis, from formulating a research question and collecting data to analyzing results and interpreting findings.
